Baby’s tongue and lips play+C9 an important role in latching. Ankyloglassia or tongue tie and Superior labial frenulum or lip tie in the baby lead to shallow latch. This can create breastfeeding problems for mother like engorgement, cracked nipples as well as for baby such as low weight gain.
